Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the vedira.ai website and the app.vedira.ai application. By creating an account or buying voice minutes you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Vedira AI is provided by VELTARA LABS LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 17452212), registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact: [TO COMPLETE: contact email].

2. The service

Vedira is an AI voice examiner. You upload study material, an AI voice asks you questions about it and follows up on your answers, and you receive a written report on what you covered and what you missed.

  • Vedira is a practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a substitute for any university, exam board, employer or public examination body (including any tribunal of a Spanish oposición).
  • Questions, evaluations and reports are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Check important facts against your own material and official sources. We do not guarantee any exam, interview or certification result.

3. Your account

  • You sign in with Google. You must give accurate information and keep access to your account secure.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share it or let others use your minutes.
  • You must be at least 14 years old to use Vedira. To buy minutes you must be an adult or have permission from a parent or guardian.
  • The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.

4. Free trial, voice minutes and payment

  • Free trial: new accounts include two free voice sessions of up to 5 minutes each, with no card required.
  • Minute packs: after the trial you buy one-time packs of voice minutes. The current packs and prices are shown on our pricing section and at checkout, where any applicable taxes are also shown.
  • How minutes are used: minutes are deducted from your balance for the time you spend in a voice session. Uploading material and reading reports does not use minutes.
  • No expiry: purchased minutes do not expire while your account is open. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
  • Subscriptions: if we offer subscription plans, the price, billing period and what is included will be shown before you subscribe. You can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the material you upload and of what you say in sessions (“your content”). You give us permission to store, process and analyse your content only to provide the service to you, including sending it to the AI and voice providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content for advertising.

You confirm that you have the right to upload your content and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or include other people’s personal data without a lawful basis.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Vedira for anything unlawful, or upload unlawful, harmful or infringing material;
  • use Vedira to get help during a real exam, interview or assessment where that is not allowed;
  • try to access other users’ data, break or overload the service, or bypass usage limits;
  • copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the service, or use it to build a competing product;
  • use automated means to create accounts or run sessions.

7. Changes to the service

We are continuously improving Vedira and may add, change or remove features. If we permanently discontinue the paid service, we will give you reasonable notice and refund the unused minutes on your balance on a pro-rata basis.

8. Ending your use

  • You can stop using Vedira and ask us to delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we close your account for any other reason, we will refund the unused minutes on your balance.

9. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses: Vedira is provided for personal use.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts. Before taking formal action, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Purchases already made remain under the terms that applied when you made them.
